The Tasmans play duos and trios at Grace Lutheran, Friday January 9!

We hope all our Boulder friends will be able to come and join us this coming Friday, January 9 at 7.30pm at our beloved Grace Lutheran Church, Boulder! The church is located at the corner of 13th and Euclid on University Hill, Boulder, CO 80302. You can call ahead to reserve tickets if you wish (303.442.1883), but they'll be available at the door too. Suggested donations are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, $5 for students, and children under 12 are offered free admission.

Anna, Chris and Miranda will be presenting a virtuoso programme of duo and trio repertoire, including the Dohnanyi Serenade for string trio, the Handel-Halvorsen Passacaglia for violin and viola, the Kodaly Duo for violin and cello, and Dmitry Sitkovetsky's arrangement of Bach's Goldberg Variations. We're really excited about the repertoire, because we don't normally get to do anything that isn't quartets! We're particularly looking forward to presenting the Bach, which works beautifully in this arrangement. We'll be performing it by candlelight for a special "midwinter" feeling!

The next time the TSQ play in Boulder, it will be with our fantastic new violinist, Jenny Banks! These are exciting times for the quartet!

We do hope to see as many of you as possible on Friday! Keep warm, everyone!
